Graphics for a Tech Explainer Video

Concept Art & Character Design, Hubbix

The Brief
Hubbix needed a visual language that could carry genuinely technical information without losing a non-technical audience. The brief called for a design built for clarity first: characters, icons, and visual metaphors that could stand in for complex ideas and make them instantly readable, all wrapped in a style that felt fun rather than corporate.

The Concept
The design process started with breaking down the technical subject matter into its simplest visual building blocks, then developing a consistent set of illustrated assets, characters, icons, and scene elements, that could represent abstract or complicated concepts at a glance. Colour, shape language, and character design were all chosen to keep things approachable and warm, so the visuals did as much explaining as the script did. The result was a set of illustrations and a video with a cohesive look built to hold the viewer’s attention from scene one to the very last frame.

The Result
The finished graphics gave Hubbix a design that translated a dense, technical product into something instantly understandable and genuinely engaging to look at.
