Bowman International: A Full Visual Reboot Across Catalogues,
Infographics & Social
Graphic Design & Brand Content
The Brief
Bowman International, a global bearings supplier serving aerospace, defence, farming, mining, medical, oil, and maritime sectors, needed a complete visual reboot across their marketing output. Engaged directly by the CMO, the brief covered product catalogues, infographics, and social content, all needing to translate highly technical, industrial subject matter into visuals that felt clear and credible to specialist buyers across seven very different sectors.
The Concept
The work spanned three distinct design streams. Product catalogues were rebuilt to present Bowman’s technical range clearly and consistently, giving buyers across every sector the same polished, professional reference point. Infographics broke down complex product specifications and industrial processes into visuals a non-specialist could follow at a glance, while still holding up to scrutiny from a technical buyer. Social content translated all of it into scroll-stopping, sector-relevant posts, tuned for organic performance rather than just brand presence. Every piece stayed anchored to a single visual identity, so a defence buyer looking at a catalogue and a maritime buyer scrolling a social post both recognised the same brand.
The Result
The visual reboot helped Bowman’s organic social content achieve the highest value-per-post of any competitor in the sector, £82 per post versus a £225 competitor average, making their content 2.7x more cost-efficient than 20 industry rivals. Across catalogues, infographics, and social, Bowman came away with a consistent, technically credible visual identity built to work across seven specialised industrial sectors.
